The rules of this marketplace.

What you can expect from us, and what we expect from candidates and hiring teams.

1. Agreeing to these terms

By using the marketplace you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you are using it for an organization, you confirm you may agree on its behalf.

You must be at least 18, or the age of digital majority where you live.

2. What the service is

Adina Labs operates a decentralized employment marketplace. Candidates build a profile they own, seal it so it can be checked, and meet hiring teams. Hiring teams verify their organization, publish roles, receive suggestions from Adina Labs Almega+™ and ask people to meet.

Adina Labs is a US company. Platform activity runs on Arbitrum, with Ethereum reserved for rare, high-value records. We control the interface you use; the smart contracts, once deployed, run on their own and cannot be paused or reversed by us.

We are a marketplace, not an employer or an employment agency. We are not party to your employment, we do not guarantee that anyone is hired, and we do not verify every claim a person or an organization makes.

3. Your account

An account wallet is created for you when you sign in, or you can connect your own. It is non-custodial: you hold the keys, you are responsible for what happens with them, and we cannot recover them for you.

Keep your details accurate. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

4. How you may use it

The marketplace works because people behave like people. You agree not to:

  • break the law, or use the service to discriminate against anyone unlawfully
  • impersonate a person or an organization, or make claims about qualifications or work history you cannot support
  • scrape, bulk-collect or resell candidate or role data, or try to reach candidates outside the meeting requests the product provides
  • send automated outreach, or use the service to run automated interviews or automated rejections of candidates
  • attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious code, or interfere with the service

5. Meeting requests and decisions

A meeting request comes from a named person on a hiring team and reaches a candidate only when it is sent. A candidate chooses whether to share their profile. Nobody else sees it before then.

Almega+™ suggests who might fit a role, with reasons. It does not score people, interview them or reject them. Every decision about a candidate is made by a person, and hiring teams agree to keep it that way when they use the service.

6. Your content, and ours

You keep ownership of everything you put here: your profile, your roles, your messages. You give us the permission we need to host and display it so the service can work, and that permission ends when you delete it.

Adina Labs owns the interface, the design and the brand. Our open-source smart contracts stay under their own licenses.

7. Sealing, records and risk

Sealing records a fingerprint on-chain. On-chain records are permanent and cannot be reversed, by you or by us. Sealing proves a profile has not changed; it does not prove that what the profile says is true.

A confirmed hire is recorded only when both the hiring team and the candidate confirm it.

Smart contracts carry risk even after audits. We are not liable for network failures, reorganizations or losses caused by them.

Adina Labs covers network fees for the actions the product performs.

8. Paying for the service

Candidates use the marketplace free. Identity verification is a paid option.

Hiring teams pay for a plan. Prices are in US dollars, and what you pay becomes credits held in your organization’s own wallet, one credit to the dollar, which your plan spends as you use it.

Fees exclude taxes. Payments settled on-chain cannot be reversed. We give 30 days’ notice before changing a subscription price.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee it is always available. We may change or discontinue parts of it with reasonable notice.

Because your wallet and your sealed records are yours, an interruption here does not cut you off from them.

10. Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including a hire that does not happen or does not work out. Our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the previous 12 months or US$100.

Consumer rights you have under local law are not affected by this.

11. Ending it

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may restrict access for a material breach of these terms.

Sections that should survive the end of this agreement do so, including ownership, liability and dispute resolution.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA. We will try to resolve anything informally first; unresolved disputes go to binding arbitration.

Residents of the EU, the UK and Australia keep access to their local consumer protection forums.

13. The ADINA token

ADINA is a utility and governance token for the Adina Labs ecosystem. It is not equity, not a security and not an investment contract. Nothing here is financial advice.

Hiring teams pay in dollars. Whether credits are held as tokens underneath does not change what you are buying: the use of this service.
